About Kathryn Bovino
Co-Founder & Managing Partner
Kathryn Bovino, M.A., BCBA, LBA, RYT-200 is a Consultant, Educator and Speaker with over 20 years of experience working with neurodiverse populations. She is the Co-Founder and Managing Partner of Thrive Consultation and Therapy, and provides Therapeutic Consultation, Relationship Development Intervention (RDI) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT coaching). Kathryn also leads yoga and mindfulness classes and teaches Psychology at a local Community College.
Kathryn is a Licensed and Board Certified Behavior Analyst and earned her Master’s degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, with a graduate certificate in autism, from Ball State University in 2015. She has a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from the University of South Florida (2004) and has maintained certifications as a RDI® Program Consultant and Infant Toddler Developmental Specialist (ITDS) since 2006. Kathryn holds additional certifications as a Therapy Dog Team Handler, Life Balance Yoga Therapy Instructor and ACT Matrix Facilitator. Kathryn specializes in creating dynamic, individualized and supportive, relationship-based programs for a wide variety of individuals and families. She works collaboratively with students, clients, families and teams to co-create meaningful and motivating goals with proactive strategies to achieve them. . In all of her endeavors, Kathryn’s mission is to encourage and inspire others to create a meaningful life that helps them to truly thrive.

About Brian Bovino
Co-Founder & Managing Partner
Brian Bovino, M.A., BCBA, LBA earned his B.A at the University of Massachusetts Amherst majoring in Economics and Finance. He graduated with his Master’s degree in Applied Behavior Analysis from Ball State University. Brian is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), a Certified Relationship Development Intervention (RDI) Consultant and a Licensed Real Estate agent.
Brian began his work with families and children with Autism in 2004. Prior to starting at the Family Guidance and Therapy Center as the Director of Operations and Developmental Services, Brian specialized in educating parents on how build consistency in parenting practices. Brian has worked with parents to improve their confidence and help them explore new learning opportunities available in everyday activities. Brian is passionate about helping parents become an active part in their child’s learning and development. He believes that through everyday routines and leisure activities, each moment is a potential learning opportunity and can be made enjoyable. Brian has worked in a multitude of settings including the public, private, and charter school setting as well as the Special Olympics, juvenile probation, short-term residential facilities, and as a Firefighter/paramedic. Brian enjoys sports, magic, and singing and is a 2015 international Barbershop Chorus Champion with the Westminster Chorus.

Christine Kearney Graham, M.Ed., BCBA, LBA, is a licensed Board Certified Behavior Analyst and licensed special educator in Virginia with over 20 years of experience supporting children and adults in the neurodivergent community and their families. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education from Temple University and her Master’s degree in Special Education, along with a Graduate Certificate in Applied Behavior Analysis, from George Mason University. Christine is also a certified personal trainer, committed to supporting overall health, independence, and overall quality of life. Christine began her career as a general education teacher and later transitioned into special education after completing her graduate studies. Here she developed extensive experience supporting individuals with diverse learning, behavioral, and developmental needs across classroom and specialized settings. Since earning her BCBA she has provided ABA services across home, school, clinic, and community environments. Christine specializes in developing individualized, evidence-based interventions that promote functional communication, emotional regulation, adaptive living skills, and independence. She has extensive experience teaching in the natural environment to embed skill development into meaningful, real-life activities, allowing learners to build communication, social, and daily living skills in contexts that are motivating and relevant to them. Her approach emphasizes teaching skills that generalize across settings and caregivers, ensuring lasting and functional outcomes. Christine is passionate about collaborating closely with families, educators, and interdisciplinary teams to create supportive, structured environments that empower individuals to build confidence, increase independence, and improve their overall quality of life. Her work is guided by compassionate, person-centered care and a commitment to helping each individual reach their fullest potential.
Ashley Majano is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) with over nine years of experience in the field of Applied Behavior Analysis. She has spent the past seven years practicing as a BCBA, providing high-quality, individualized services in both clinical and home-based settings. Ashley is dedicated to supporting clients and families through compassionate, evidence-based care that promotes meaningful and lasting progress. Originally from North Carolina, Ashley has been living in Virginia for the past seven years, where she resides with her husband, daughter, and two dogs. Outside of work, she enjoys cooking, hiking, staying active through fitness, and traveling around the world, and is passionate about living a holistic lifestyle. She is committed to continued growth, collaboration, and empowering those she serves through her work at Thrive Consultation.

Meet our Therapy Animals
Nala and Perci Bovino
Thrive provides Animal-Assisted Therapy with our incredible animals. Nala and Kathryn became a certified Love on a Leash Therapy Dog Team in 2014, working extensively with individuals and families for nine meaningful years. Nala has since crossed the rainbow bridge, leaving behind a beautiful legacy of comfort, connection, and support for everyone who knew her.
Perci trained for two years as an Autism Service Dog and was certified in 2016 by Good Dog Service Canines as a Facility Dog to work alongside Brian. Since then, Perci has supported Brian and Kathryn in a wide range of settings—therapy centers, family and group homes, college classrooms, and more—bringing calm, joy, and connection wherever he goes.
